Find straightforward answers about Tuition Time Hub’s learning, childcare, holiday, community, funding and location services in Huddersfield.

GETTING STARTED
Tuition Time Hub brings together learning, childcare, adult education and community opportunities in Huddersfield. Current services include academic tuition, ILM Academy, adult learning, morning and after-school care, seasonal holiday clubs and community programmes. Visit our Services page to see what is currently available and the appropriate next step for each service.
Start with our Services page, where the options are organised by the type of learning, care or community support required. Each service page explains who it is for, where it may be available and how to enquire.
No. An enquiry allows the relevant team to review your requirements, current availability and the appropriate next step. A place is only confirmed after the service team has contacted you and completed the necessary confirmation or registration process.
Yes. Families may use more than one learning or care service where suitable and available. Each service can have its own enquiry, registration, availability and payment arrangements.
“Coming Soon” means that a service or location is still being developed and is not yet accepting confirmed bookings. Full information will only be published when the service is ready to accept enquiries, registrations or applications.
ACADEMIC TUITION
Tuition Time provides structured support in English, maths and science. Current year groups, session options, locations and availability are explained on the Tuition page.
A consultation helps the tuition team understand the learner’s needs, explain the available options and check whether a suitable place and timetable are available. Where appropriate, an assessment may also be used to understand the learner’s current starting point.
Where suitable sessions and places are available, families can discuss support across more than one subject. The tuition team will explain the available timetable and the most appropriate arrangement.
No. A tuition place is only confirmed after the team has reviewed the enquiry, discussed the available provision and completed the required confirmation process.
CHILDCARE & HOLIDAY CLUBS
Our childcare provision can include morning care, after-school care and seasonal holiday clubs. Availability depends on the service, location, days required, staffing and current capacity.
No. Services and availability can differ between locations. Use our central Locations page to compare current provision, then visit the appropriate service page for further information.
No. The team must first review the location, school, days, number of places required and current availability. A place is only confirmed when the care team has contacted the family and completed the required registration process.
Holiday clubs operate seasonally and may have separate registration, eligibility or application arrangements for each programme. Registering interest or submitting an initial form does not automatically confirm a place.
Holiday clubs are seasonal childcare and activity programmes. HAF places are connected to a specific funded Holiday Activities and Food programme and can have separate eligibility and registration requirements. The requirements for each programme will be explained when applications open.
No. School collection arrangements depend on the childcare location, staffing, demand and the routes currently being operated. The care team will confirm whether the required school and days can be supported.
ILM ACADEMY
ILM Academy provides structured Qur’an reading, Islamic studies and Arabic learning for children aged five and above. It operates as a specialist learning service within the wider Tuition Time Hub family.
No. ILM Academy focuses on Qur’an reading, Islamic studies and Arabic learning. Tuition Time provides academic support in subjects including English, maths and science. Families may enquire about either or both services.
The ILM Academy team will explain the appropriate starting process after receiving the enquiry. Where required, a friendly conversation or assessment may be used to understand the learner’s current level and identify the most appropriate class.
Yes, where suitable places and timetables are available. Each service has its own availability, registration and payment arrangements.
ADULT LEARNING
Adult learning opportunities can include digital confidence, AI skills, employability and other practical community programmes. Available courses may change according to demand, staffing, funding and programme schedules.
Not necessarily. Some courses operate as fixed programmes or seasonal cohorts. The Adult Learning page and Services directory will show what is currently open for enquiries or registrations.
No. Some programmes may be funded or subsidised for eligible participants, while others may have a fee. The specific cost and eligibility requirements will be explained for each programme before registration.
HELP WITH CHILDCARE COSTS
Eligible working families receiving Universal Credit may be able to reclaim up to 85% of eligible registered childcare costs, subject to the current government rules, limits and assessment process. Tuition Time Hub cannot determine or guarantee an individual family’s entitlement.
Eligible families can use a government Tax-Free Childcare account to pay an approved childcare provider. For every £8 deposited, the government normally adds £2, subject to the scheme’s current rules and limits. Families must confirm their eligibility through the official government service.
Some eligible higher-education students may be able to receive help with registered childcare costs through a relevant student funding scheme. Eligibility, evidence requirements and payment arrangements vary, so students should check the current official guidance.
No. External government departments, funding providers or programme commissioners decide eligibility. Tuition Time Hub can provide information about its services and relevant childcare documentation but cannot approve or guarantee a funding claim.
LOCATIONS & CONTACT
Tuition Time Hub operates from locations in Huddersfield. Our central Locations page contains the current addresses, available services and location information.

GIVE BACK
Tuition Time Hub’s own Give Back Impact Pledge, funded from profits generated by its main learning and care services.
A separate registered Community Interest Company with its own directors, accounts, grants, partnerships and locally focused community programmes.
The Hub’s Impact Pledge is Tuition Time Hub’s own commitment to pledge at least 20% of profits from its main learning and care services to selected local work and global causes. It is funded by Tuition Time Hub, not by Give A Little Back CIC.
No separate donation is added to a family’s bill. The pledge is funded from Tuition Time Hub’s own profits.
No. They share part of their history, but they now have separate roles and finances. The Impact Pledge belongs to Tuition Time Hub. Give A Little Back CIC is a separate Community Interest Company running its own locally focused community programmes.
Give A Little Back CIC may receive grants, partnerships, donations and other programme income for its own community purposes. CIC funding is not used to finance Tuition Time Hub’s commercial services or the Hub’s global giving.
The Hub’s Impact Pledge is not presented as a public donation fund. Families support the pledge by using Tuition Time Hub’s services. Everyone who is part of the Hub in anyway is part of the greater good and pledge work.
